As a lifelong athlete I understand the demands of the human body and how important
pain free movement is to performance and leading a healthy lifestyle on a day-to-day basis. After college football and years of unproper lifting I became a Physical Therapy all star, uncovering 4 herniated discs in my back. This is when the vicious cycle began: throw out back, complete therapy, remain 'healthy' for a period and then repeat. It was only until i was tired with the quality of my life and took matter into my own hands, diving back into the human body and how it functions. After years of self discovery I came across a group out of New Orleans called GOATA who really opened my eyes as to how the body load & releases energy via slow motion video.
After feeling and seeing the difference in myself, i knew i had to share this with my clients and to anyone who would listen. Since then Ive worked with different sports teams in a trainer/coach capacity, helped countless people get out of pain and continue to learn with an open mind on a daily basis.
My goal is to help clients look and feel better through corrective exercises and training to
up level movement patterns. Upon completion of the first training session or request, I will provide
clients with a voiced-over, video assessment of themselves. The video allows the client to view their bodies in motion and are able to see where their most vulnerable & gain knowledge on anatomical function. Based on
the review process, I can design an exercise regimen to create more natural movement
habits in person or virtually by providing clients w exercise videos and weekly zoom calls. Connecting with clients looking to increase athletic performance, avoid injury while
exercising, lose weight, gain muscle, and recover from past injury to become pain free is something I am very passionate about. Teaching at a women's only gym for 3 years while coaching youth football, and working as a trainer at the Vanderbilt club I have experience & enjoy working with men and women of all ages; including athletes, weekend warriors, rehab clients and everyone in between!
